He didn’t work last time because he ended up as a back up, he hasn’t kicked on since, why would we bring him back as a backup to try again. Who would make way to provide a squad place for him.
Nothing about Sane coming back makes any sense to either him or us. Thats why along with the Mancini replacing Pep posts it’s a complete non starter.

We are entitled to opinions on this forum , but I suspect the idea that Pep would welcome back Sane is somewhat delusional. Not to say he is a bad player, but FFS come on. t is not going to happen.

I think that the problem, as we saw on his first go round, is that he does tend to sulk when placed in a backup role. Whether that would be true now, remains to be seen.

He's progressed to sulking as a starter now..

I would argue he worked very well last time. then he got injured.

Playing him through the middle doesn't suit him either. Pep knew his hold up play wasn't great even on the wing. But we all saw where he can create the most damage out wide.

No he spent much of the season before his injury on the bench, which was why he was probably leaving that summer, until he got the injury.
