Would you have Sane back?

Time has moved on. Sane is a shell of his 2018 season. Last night’s performance should really put this thread to bed.

He’s never coming back here.

Do you really judge player on friendly game like yesterday ?

did he match Jack Grealish goals & assists numbers last season ?

Not a chance. That ship has sailed.

And considering Sane hit the lottery when Bayern were willing to pay him higher than KDB.. he's not complaining either. Bayern might try to force him out but he's got 4 more years of higher than KDB money left.. GUARANTEED!

There were always that niggling doubt about leroy-sané and did he do enough to stay in the team
pep many times going daft on the touch line with him not working for the team,

great player but poor people in the background giving him poor advice, but when you're offered daft money on a long term contract in your home country then i could understand it

Must admit that I don't watch German football so couldn't go on about his form. He was good when he was here, but not sure he was a world beater, however I thought he would get there. Shame it didn't work out

Keep having to repeat but here I go again

Leroy was a lazy barsteward, great feet & ballance but when it really mattered without the ball he simply jibbed out

This Pep team needs energy in both half's of the pitch, we can't afford luxury items that gives you halfof whats required

Sane will not be back playing in a City shirt

Never seen him whatsoever last night

Leroy Sane sort of reminds me of Delle Ali - so much promise but clearly issues.

I think it was Walker (??) who had a quote about Sane a few years back, something to the effect of he would be the best player in the world if he believed in himself.

It didn't register at the time but seeing as how his career has panned out to date, I do think there's something to it. He's clearly immensely talented, but he's always been inconsistent and just might not have that drive or mentality to go to the next level.

Leroy Sane is a great example of a player who has more than enough talent to be a Ballon D’Or winner, but can’t be arsed working for it. Unless he gets a bump on the head he’ll always be a good player in flashes in good teams. But he’ll be too much of a luxury for a top team.
