Would you have Sane back?

It seems when a player leave the club on bad terms, we forget quickly how good he is.

Sane is the best winger the club had in the past decade.

When he could be arsed, he undoubtedly was. I don’t think many would dispute that.

The problem was those occasions weren’t consistent enough.

I used to say to my Dad, “ah, it’s one of those Sane days”. On those days he barely looked a footballer.

When he was on it, he was unbelievable.

He's probably past his momentum spike now. We've probably got better prospects on the books already.

When he was good - he was incredible.

But when he wasn’t in the mood (which was a lot of time, lest we forget) - it was like playing with 10 men.

Sterling is by far the best winger the club has had in the last decade - on every metric you’d care to consider.

Mainly good off the bench, we didn't miss him. He won't be coming back

Is that when he was starting every week and the club won the league with 100 points ? with 10 goals & 15 Assists in the league ?

Imagine Sane had anywhere close to Sterling's numbers...

You'd be the most severe case of autoerotique asphyxiation in history

Sterling is our best right winger in the past decade, but when he start in other positions LW or CF he became less effective.

Sane has(d) a much higher talent ceiling than Sterling, yet has never produced the numbers that Sterling has year in year out.

Thats why Raheem is still here and Sane is a squad rotation option for Bayern.
