Leroy Sane - 2016/2017 performances

Nowhere near Henry levels, but he does look good.

Of course he's not, he needs performances like that most games over a long period. Not saying he can't reach that level but he'a right at the very beginning of whatever career he's going to have

What I like about Sane is his route one style, no fancy step overs etc, just fast and confident, setting up our second goal against West Ham he just used speed to get a yard on the defender down the left... lots of players would have used a step over to do exactly the same.

Becoming one of the players I love to watch.

Awesome in the first half though their RB started getting the better of him in the second half, and he started misplacing passes over-running his dribbles. But unlike most, that didn't cause him to sink into his shell, he kept trying to take people on and make things happen...That's a fantastic trait

Brilliant first half. Quiet second half but still left his man did for dead a few times.

Could have been MOTM with a couple of goals and assists if a few bounces of the ball had gone his way, or a few passes were centimetres better.

Fine margins, was still terrorising their defence in the first half.

His touch went to shit in the second half, constant threat in the first.

He was great, just breezed past his man time & time again - only downside was his final decision/delivery. Once he has that down he'll be a nightmare to play against.

Silva seemed to really enjoy linking up with him on the left, caused havoc first half those 2.

His first half was excellent, the team wasn't as confident in the second half, I'm not expecting him to carry the team at 19 years old so it's no surprise he was more quiet in the second half. Saw some people saying he was poor, I really don't get how easily people single out players for criticism where not much is due like that.
