I think he's had a better season as a whole than Sane but Leroy has been giving defenders nightmares since the turn of the year. But yeah, I think that previous winners can't win it again.

The only 'problem' with Sane at the moment is that he has one good half and one really quiet half.

I think that's simply because of his age though and he'll become more consistent as he gets older.

He also doesn't have to compete for his place. Pretty much guaranteed to start when fit. This will change in the summer and next year he will be a better player because of it.
