Seen him play 3 or 4 times for Schalke, and he's always been in today's first half position, coming in from the right, onto his left foot. In fact, i'm pretty sure he scored a cracking goal against Real Madrid, two seasons ago.
Definitely a work in progress, but it's a brave step for a young German to come to England, and adapt, not only to Pep's tactical intensity, but also the day to day complications of English teenage culture (and for all his promise, it will be exactly the same for Gabriel Jesus)
Today was a huge improvement on his performance at the swamp, and he'll undoubtedly continue to improve.
