How can you assess the attitude and mindset of a player ?

It seems many are repeating what Toni Kroos have said about Sane after being left out of the world cup squad which turns out a big mistake for them !

I don't buy the attitude stuff either. I just think Sterling is currently straight up better.

It genuinely can't be based on anything other than personal preference but even then I'd like to know what Sané is ">" at than Sterling.

Even these "potential" arguments don't wash when you look at Raheem's improvement and current age.
