In January 2009, he exposed himself to complete ridicule by giving an Exclusive to Sky Sports News, regarding a transfer of AC Milan star Kaka to Manchester City, by standing in front of the wrong building whilst transfer talks were ongoing 20 miles away from his location.

Following this, he was voted in August 2009 by a Manchester City fans forum, as the one reporter in the world they would most like to woman slap. There was also an accusation made, that he was indeed half-man, half-pig. Swanson declined to comment.

Edited for accuracy.

interesting what cahill has said about lescott. if a bigger club came in for him that had a small bit of ambition, sounds like he would be doing the same and writing that transfer request as well! happy days.

where did Cahill say that?

he is one of the players who is everton through and through

LOL at how long this thread is

Very very few players are "through and through" for their club. We thought SWP was, then £21m later he was at Chelsea. Ireland gives thet impression he'd be City through and through, but I wouldn't be confident he'll stay at City for his whole career. Cahill didn't start his career at Everton so I'm not sure where your thoughts on this come from.
