On the contrary - I`m an absolute hoot. You should hear me cheering and telling Jokes as a ball goes out for a needless corner, as a lone striker is left completely unmarked, as we`re down to 10 men after 20 mins, as we give a penalty away, as we score another own goal, as ........... actually stay where you are, I'm not much fun!

I agree that that twitter page looks obviously fake. I can't understand why players would do anything like this via social networking sites. Bents torrent of abuse directed at Levy via twitter was one of the most ridiculous footballing stories I've ever heard.

I do like however, the thought of Lescott going home from a hard days work and getting himself a Dominos pizza.

He'd be slaughtered.

Having had a brief read of some of those sites it would seem Evertonians don't "get" irony.

On the one hand they're moaning and complaining about a lack of signings and the calibre of player they're being linked with yet on the other hand they're moaning and complaining about our pursuit of Lescott and dancing a jig of excitement at the fact they might keep him and get "one over" on City. What they fail to see is that the first issue is directly related to the second, they can't have both. Either sell Lescott and sign some quality or keep Lescott and sign mediocre players (or none at all). To moan about both shows a lack of basic understanding.
