You're laughing at Jo but your club paid 18m for him? Jesus Christ mate. You're a fucking idiot.

Ha, you moron. We didn't pay 18 million for Jo. Get your facts right, just because the Sun prints it doesn't mean it's true. And by the way, he's shite.

You still bought him, that's my main argument. Regardless of price.

Although Wikipedia does say 18m and everyone knows Wikipedia is never wrong.

How good is it that we can afford to write off that ammount of money when you can even pay his wages. Hes not an idiot just forgets not all clubs are as fortunate as our own

I'm sure I'll never see the day Everton can waste 18m on a player but I don't think I'd want to see it either.

Oh and keep this on the low down but he's actually quite good. Dark horse this season. He'll score a lot.

oh see what you did their, now your the fuckin idiot. Its like fuckin idiot tig on here, has Lescott not signed yet then

completley wrong, rooney is one of the best players i have ever seen, the best in the prem by a mile.
the buy has got everything and was a steal 27m, i would have him over any other player, inc messi etc.[/quote]

I laughed out loud at this

messi v rooney

both outstanding
both can win a game in a split second
but only one is a nailed on proven success in the prem, no bedding in, no homesickness, no tanting, no shirking the riggers of the prem..
i am not saying messi would have any of those things but we know rooney HAS walked the walk.in that light given we have to get it right straight away i would take rooney at this moment in time, messi can join in jan.

rag or not rooney is truly an outstanding player, not just in his position, all over the park.

The man has a point. Can we stop the Everton-dissing? It's getting me down. Just ban every obviously-retarded Toffeeman, then try and make nice with the remainder.

The 'Everton are so fucking poor/We're so very rich', 'Your stadium is shit/Ours is lovely' stuff is almost as cringeworthy as Munich songs. Have a bit of dignity.

And if I have to hear one more time that Moyes is foolish to keep an unhappy player... I mean, Jesus fucking wept.

He's Joleon Lescott, he's not Franz Beckenbaur. He's not even Nedum Onouha.

The way I see it, Moyes should just shut his ginger head and sell us the player - I mean, Everton are a team that's going nowhere fast and surely he must recognise this.

He should be satisfied with buying young players from the Championship, grooming them into Premier League players, and then selling them on to Clubs with genuine ambition to challenge for honours - its a complement that a Club like us want to buy a player he's developed and is a testament to the job he's doing there.

Frankly, Everton are a team who are clearly punching above their weight in the league at the moment, but it can't last without investment. Moyes should bide his time til some money comes into the club by developing his players and selling them on to Big Clubs thus generating finance for himself in this way - I think he's getting ideas above his station at the moment, and this whole approach will blow up in his face when he's left with a threadbare squad, short on quality, with their only decent player wanting out. Shame on him!

Obvious troll is obvious.

But still I'll reply.

Why should Everton sell one of their best players to a new rival for European spots? Just because you want him and you have a tonne of money?

'its a complement that a Club like us' - A club like who? What have you done and who are you?

Everton are punching above their weight? OK, yeah. So we must be punching above our weight quite consistently then. And our side is short on quality and we have only one good player. Jesus Christ mate. If you're not a troll then you have probably the most limited footballing knowledge in the world.

But you're not going to be a rival for a European spot, so your argument has no foundation - thats what makes me laugh about all this - talk about delusions of grandeur. I can understand not selling to your rivals, so if this was about Lescott going to Wigan or Stoke or Hull or someone like that, then I could sypathise with your argument - surely even you must admit that we're a shoe in for Europe and you guys will have concerns elsewhere in the League, shall we say, so why not sell us the player!

And as for the rest of your squad - tell me one other player of yours that you can genuinely see one of the Big Clubs like us being interested in - I'm looking forward to hearing this one

Most fans i know say everton punch above their weight!!

Yak has come back from that bad injury but will he stay fit?

Jags is a massive miss for you, yobo is ok nowt special and is offski to ACN.

Jo we payed 4 mill up front the rest is on acheiving cups etc so you don't have a clue my blue dipping friend!

Then the fans you know are idiots.

Yak has never shown himself to be consistently injured so why he wouldn't come back fit I don't know.

Jags will be back 2 months before ACN so we will have cover.

You still bought him. That's my point.

Everton fans answer this,
If and i mean if Hughes has gone above Moyes's head and approached Kenwright and Kenwright accepts his offer where would that leave Moyes in your eyes?

De Niro I thought you were joking this morning claiming to prefer Rooney over Messi (PMSL).

I think your actually serious?!?

while i would take messi over rooney every time, you can see his point as there is no denying rooney is talented despite being a fucking horrible human being.

Rooney is the best player in the Prem in my opinion .
If he was a male model , he would get more credit . Messi is a great player in his own right , but if I had the chance to bring one player to Everton , it would be Wayne Rooney .
The guy is so good it beggars belief if you understand the game properly .
