Perhaps it's time for us to walk away so that we don't give Everton money . Who knows if Kenwright would give it to Moyes but lets find another defender, for much less money. Not forgetting we have Onouha, and Kompany who I rate as a CH. Maybe Upson would be the right choice or a player outside of the Prem that wouldn't cost as much. As for Everton, well if they keep Lescott they have a very badly disrupted team at the minute and if it continues it could seriously dent their season. If they sell him to us they would quickly move on.

Absolute bollocks, why would we part-ex our captain and another CB (2 CBs) when we are looking for CB cover. I could maybe understand TBH going in part-ex but not Dunne also. Maybe throw in Jo as well but if we did that we'd be stupid to pay £20M +2 players.

Maybe Hughes doesnt rate either of them? Neither of them are good enough for where we want to go! If this deal went through we would then have Toure and Lescott as 1st choice partnership with Ned and Kompany as back up. This is plenty of cover for a team that does not have European football!
