Evening Guys

late post, had a text earlier to say that things had moved on today with regards Lescott. We have now been given the green light to finalise the deal and it should be done some time this week. Not sure where this leaves Moyes but it has now gone from as good as done to highly unlikely to as good as done again. The confusion isn't from the City end either!!

I think we have played our cards brilliantly here, well done to all at MCFC.

ps...even I am bored of this one now!!

Would agree with that. Watching Spuds yesterday they looked very well organised and solid at the back, and their players are not any better than ours.
Spurs were at home and also didnt have to put up long balls all game, so no wonder they looked well organised.

How he's not been kicked off yet is a mystery.
He has been.

Hopefully some of the City fans involved in this thread can now start posting like adults again, because the constant childish sniping certainly wasn't all one-way.

We coped very well on Saturday, under what was the biggest aerial bombardment since Dresden and the second world war!

Did fat sam learn his football tactics from bomber command?

while long balls can sting one of the better sides, give spuds some credit--liverpool can bang in some goals, not like they were playing burnley at home.

i think with the players we have now, properly coached and settled in, we could have a hell of a season, but i'm (still) all for bringing in lescott.

Bring lescott in but only let TBH go. Dunney has been a fantastic servant of this club and I for one would love him to be there in the future to be holding up some silverware for us, it's the least he deserves
