SSN say we are going to offer £18m + Dunne and Ben Haim !

Sod it we should throw Benjani in as well and raise it to £20m.

£18m + Ben Haim I could definitely see, and I'd be happy with that. I wouldn't want Dunne thrown in there though, he may not be a starting centre half for us for too much longer, but he's better than a makeweight in a deal for Lescott, and keep him around for squad depth as a backup.

yeah £18m and tbh seems like a great deal for us!! we get lescott and weaken their defence even more by giving them tbh!!lol

while long balls can sting one of the better sides, give spuds some credit--liverpool can bang in some goals, not like they were playing burnley at home.

i think with the players we have now, properly coached and settled in, we could have a hell of a season, but i'm (still) all for bringing in lescott.

Bring lescott in but only let TBH go. Dunney has been a fantastic servant of this club and I for one would love him to be there in the future to be holding up some silverware for us, it's the least he deserves

and would also like him on our coaching staff - how many players in the last 20 years have played for us as many years as Dunney has?

Hold on.... 18m + Dunne + Ben Haim?

I am sorry but Dunne is worth at least 5m and Ben Haim at least 3m.

Lescott is NOT worth 26m, screw this.

To be honest Matty, I think a Prem Squad needs 4 top end centre halfs for depth. If we get Lescott, we would have Toure, Lescott, Ned and Kompany.

As much as I agree with you, Dunne is better than a makeweight in a deal for Lescott, the bigger picture leans me towards thinking this would be a good deal for us.

I would be very surprised if Everton are interested in either player to be fair and TBH is not worth 3p never mind £3 million!

If we could get Lescott and get rid of Dunne and TBH I for one would be delighted!

Exactly!

As it stands if we pay straight cash for Lescott we would have 5th and 6th choice centre backs earning over £100k pw between them, this would be a farce!
