SSN reporting an interview with Moyes later this afternoon - should give us a bit more info - if he refuses to comment on Lescott, which I strongly suspect is what he'll do, I think we can safely assume the deal's going ahead and is being sorted out between the chairmen of the 2 clubs
I think he'll say there's been no subsequent bids from City, that way he won't be lying and he gets to avoid talking about any "behind the scenes" discussions.

I think dignified restraint & generosity of spirit should characterise all posts on this subject from now until he signs. It's not long to hold yourselves in check!

We have a squad, we are at home and we are playing one of the newly promoted teams, not a top half contender in most peoples opinion at this stage. I doubt Lescott would be thrown in even if he did sign having not played with his team mates or even be aware of tactics, setups, formations, who covers who etc, never mind the message it would send to the other squad defenders.

you mean like corluka lol.

Or Kompany?

maybe not to play but to parade to the crowd at home!

Apparently Moyes is moving house, the estate agents have put a not for sale sign up in his garden, it also says ring the vendor direct!

Don't understand. Moyes hasn't played for or managed Wolves has he?

This made me smile from his Wiki entry tho'
"Mr. David Moyes is probably a fine example to everybody in government of stability and making the right decisions for the long term."

– Andy Burnham, Secretary of State for Culture, Media & Sport,

True, true. Our fans have no soul. If only we were like other fans who have been given double-helpings of soul by the Lord God Almighty.
