THE MOYES DEFINITION OF NOT FOR SALE

1/. He is not for sale at any price

2/. We don't want to sell him at any price

3/. We have not had an offer for him that I would accept.

4/. I have relucantly decided to sell him......................

5/. I have not spoken to anyone from City about Lescott

6/. I have spoken a little bit to City about Lescott but not much and not of any consequence.

One thing is for sure Moyes has killed any chance he may think he has at being at the helm of Manure.

If you are going to lie lie like Baconface does , straight and to the point.

We have let this drag on far too long. Everton are definately there to be fucked now the way Moyes has handled this, with out start to the season, time and money to spend on the cover we need we should be completely in control of this deal.

We should have just told them its done by Friday 21st (for a reasonable fee) or its off.

I still think its in our best interests to walk away from this for the time being, leave then with an unsettled unhappy player and a squad divided. Get Distain for Ben Haim and Benjani plus a couple of million and sign Lescott next summer for £15 million after Everton and the player have had a shit season.

Its not like its our fault we have made very good offers for him, we first showed an interest over a month ago.

The player left it much too late to force the deal and Moyes has been a complete prick. Everyone other than Everton fans accepts this. We can walk away happy with the way we have conducted this deal and get the cover in we need. Leave Moyes to deal with the consequences of his poor man (and press) management.

So in your view Portsmouth can afford 60k a week in wages for Ben Haim??

No obviously not. No matter which club we off load him to we will end up having to pay the player £2 million at least to make him move. No one will pay him that sort of money.

Same as Fowler etc.

My point is, when your moving players there has to be something of value to the other side, it's all very well to offload your mistakes(don't get me wrong I would love it) but I believe TBH has 3 years left on his deal thats roughly 9.3m in wages. I'm guessing Portsmouth wouldn't be willing to pay more than 25k a week giving you a shortfall of 6m ish.
