yah boo sucks etc etc. it's happening. the question is when, and for how much.

all the everton fans say the same... we don't need to sell.

damn right you don't. but moyes and kenwright will look beyond the usual 'don't sell your best players' bit, and realise that this is 8m over his usual valuation, the kid wants to go, and the money could be used to help buy 3/4 players that would benefit the team as much as lescott. tis good business.

'moyes' blue eyed boy'. don't make me laugh. sentimental nonsense. this is a multi-million pound enterprise for all concerned. moyes and kenwright will do what is in the clubs interest in the long term, not what will protect the fans feelings for the summer.

we'll see ,Chelsea and Arsenal have tried and failed............big clubs them lad aswell..........city ha ha

Getting pissed off with Everton's ridiculous valuation. He isn't worth £20 million. £15 million is a big stretch even, he's only worth £12m. With the market inflated we could grin and bear it for £15m, but paying £20m or £15m and a player for Lescott is just a joke.

There are other targets that are better and available more cheaply. Hughes just needs to drop the obsession with the premiership proven thing - don't get me wrong it was a sensible idea but we have more than enough prem proven players now, we can afford one or two imports. Luisao, Westermann are available for a start.

He's worth £18 mill if Johnson is worth £17 mill.

Just to end this thread.........Lescott is going nowhere. This is post Evertons AGM end of last week ,the chairman Bill Kenwrights talks about Moyes in an interview with Everton TV.

AI: Rather interestingly he did say that the first thing he asked you when he came here was to not make him sell players, he says he's never had to do that, does that mean Lescott will stay here?
BK: Well you heard what he said and he said it right at the start of the summer, none of my players are going and er you know, I think all of this speculation that goes on doesn't do anyone any favours. David Moyes and only David Moyes I promise you and every Evertonian will make the decisions on the playing staff at this football club. And he said tonight, and he means it, nobody's for sale.

What makes you think Lescott wont hand in a transfer request? Anyway even if he doesn't every player has his price e.g ronaldo! 22 million and moyes wouldn't say no.

Also why do you have to say pmsl after every post you make? Piss off back to your Everton forum where you belong!!!

He'd be an idiot not to is the sad truth for the blue dippers.
