You are the Comical Ali of the forum world.

Our tanks are on your lawn...look over your shoulder....

Your tanks have ran out of fuel lad. Lescott is going nowhere, i do hope he cups his hand to his ear in front the home fans at Eastlands when he scores the winner for Everton and runs the entire length of the pitch

"Lescott is going nowhere!"

is moyes preparing to lose him.....

Defender linked with Everton move
Hull City, 09:02, July 22, 2009

Everton are lining up a £8m move for Hull City's Michael Turner if they lose star defender Joleon Lescott to Manchester City.

David Moyes does not want to lose Lescott but with the sort of money that City have to splash about he is realistic enough to know he may have no choice so is lining up a replacement in Turner.

Similarly, Hull do not want to lose their dominant centre-half but Phil Brown acknowledges that they may not have a choice and has admitted that if a team were to come up with the right amount of cash then a deal could be done.

Brown said: "I've had three Premier League managers inquire about Michael but I have an evaluation of him based on the current transfer market.

"Michael has a price-tag and if someone decides to come in and reaches that price-tag, then there's a possibility we may lose him."

Clubcall - that would say it all really... if it wasn't for the fact they've stolen the story from that ever reliable new source The Daily Star lol!

Move along people nothing to see here.

Mr Brown is quoted in the article so this has legs.

From what i know, Lescott isn't a local Evertonian, he hasn't been at Everton his entire career; he's not like a Raul at Real Madrid.

I don't know how to ask this without seeming arrogant (which hopefully you'll see i'm not).

"What is it that will keep Lescott at Everton". We all know players hold all the power. If Barca made a serious attempt to get Robinho, or if Santos had a billionaire owner, then perhaps i could see Robinho leaving us for either; one of the biggest clubs in the world or his "hometown" club.

I don't get why Everton fans are saying lescott won't come? ToffeeAndy has said he believes City will overtake Everton in the next few years, we are offering pretty nice wage packets to our new signings, i guess with our acquisitions this summer, we're looking ever more attractive to players.

So, what is it that will make him stay at Everton?
