Bizzbo , you're a good poster m8 . Always liked you .

The step up / step down is irrelevant as we both know .

The only thing we all know is that so far Everton have been the only team to consistently knock on the door , and see the door open , and City are the only other team to have the potential to knock on the same door , with possibly more weight than Spurs or Villa .

Noone knows how things will turn out next season .
Noone can guarantee either side will see success .
Noone can start singing yet for either side .

All we can do is respect the teams that are retrospectively above us regarding their positions , and strive to emulate their success .

We're chasing the top 4 , and you're chasing the top 5 .
Our hopes for next year aren't so different
.

i love the last bit, but you are so right but oh so ever wrong :)

Haha.

You act (badly) all civilised yet you're full of cheap digs. No doubt because you fear us and rightfully so.

Soon Lescott will be ours and you'll become even more desperate, clutching at anything you can to make City look bad. Your patronising manner will slowly evaporate, your friendly mask lost and we'll see the real City stalker for all he is.

not to mention the clubs history

Yeah, because we don't have any right? Oh Dear.

Very please with Toure, it all comes down to the bid being accepted.

If we land Lescott we have a better squad then Arsenal without a doubt.

The thing with Everton is that they're in a similar situation to Bolton and Pompy were, held up in their position mainly because of their manager, in the case of the latter clubs, Alladyce and Redknapp. If Moyes goes then Everton will drop like a rock, struggling to fight of relegation, hoping that another Jan Segers will be there to save them. Players will no doubt want to leave and crowds will drop even more than they did last season.

Bloody hell - are Everton fans the most deluded fans in the world???

Let's be honest, due to Moyes being a good manager Everton have punched above their weight.

So they've finished 5th a few season - all that means to you boys is a European competition that will stretch you small squad, which you will get yourselves dumped out of by Christmas as your league form suffers.

But as you say yourself DSOB - there are no guarantees for next season - including you lot doing so well again. I think this coming season, apart from us you'll face a strong challenge from the Spuds and hopefully Villa too.
So I think you got that last bit arse upward - it is US that is going for 4th spot - and you lot who will be desperately trying to cling onto 5th!

Everton... always the bridesmaid!

Wouldnt you be more inclined to agree that will our fantastic lookng squad right now, maintaining 5th spot is as much in your minds as trying to achieve top 4 is?

You are at the starting blocks with a new pair of running shoes , but the race is yet to start , and when it does , you will be running in these shoes for the first time .
Will they give your feet blisters ?
Will they fall apart ?
Will they make you champions ?

We'll know for sure when the race is won .

Yes , on paper , you have a better squad than you did last year .

Fantastic looking squad ?

Compared to Chelsea ?
Compared to Liverpool ?
Compared to United ?

No . It just looks fantastic to City suporters because it is their new squad .

Better than Arsenals and Evertons ?

Well , they're both pretty good sides in their own right who are already playing as a team , and already achieving success .
How City play as a team will be key .

Fantastic ? No .

Capable of being ? Perhaps . Time will tell .

Liverpool are losing a few players as well. Arbeloa has gone, Alonso on his way thats 2 of their first team 11 also talk of Mascarano going to Barca. Jonson is not as good as Arbeloa IMO. They have also lost a few squad players. As with Arsenal and rags they seem to be going backwards.

Stevie G and Torres are pure class but injury prone. You take them out of that side and they would struggle to get in the top 6 let alone top 4 IMO.

I see the bin dippers are back in force. I thought we had banned these scouse fuckwits ?

Better than Arsenals and Evertons ?

Lol at putting Everton in the same bracket as Arsenal. You didn't even come close to finishing above them last season.

Deluded and desperate.

Bitter Shade of Blue is just a jealous dipper who secretly wants to support City.
