Personally i don't think he is worth 15m let alone 20m.
I would agree. Perhaps though Hughes is thinking a couple of years down the line with Micah & Nedum developing , added with Lescott we would have young English talent with experience. Maybe that's why he is so keen on him.

or maybe it's the fact that he's a great player. i know the money is getting stupid but we would be fortunate to have Lescott in the side. I'm very high on this player personally. top notch and a player you win with.

To keep going back and offering over the top money smacks of desperation - FFS surely there are other defenders out there that we can buy without getting completely arse-raped. Hangelaand is surely worth a punt.
