Notice in our first rejected bid it mentioned in evertons statement we wont sell any of our top players and this time it does not mention this.
You are, of course, right, proving it on the pitch is what it's all about. However, when anyone, even the most biased of Evertonians, or for that matter United fans, look at our two prospective lineups the differences stand out. We have added top quality so far this Summer with Tevez, Barry, Adebayor, Santa Cruz and Toure. We WILL add another defensive player, whether it be Lescott or not. Add those to the likes of Ireland, Robinho, De Jong, Kaompany, Richards, Bridge, Bellamy and Given and you've got an extremely strong squad.bubjeeps said:Nice to see how fickle city fans really our starting to kick there toys out of pram now another club refused there money lads. City might have money and buying players but talking is done on pitch and thats the most important area and until city prove it on the pitch they will always be in evertons shadow

Lescott isn't worth £25m. Does anyone honestly feel he's the same value as Adebayor and Tevez? Of course he isn't.
