It has always been the selling club or targeted club that has told the media, hence starting unecessary transfer sag's.

No. He signed a contract at those terms. If he wants to earn the really big money, all he has to do is hand a transfer request in. Until he does that, he can 'make do' on the terms he previously agreed to. Life has a tendency to be a woman like that!

I'm sorry, but I still think this is an utterly ludicrous viewpoint. David Moyes is not Joleon Lescott's agent, he's Everton's manager. He owes Lescott absolutely nothing and his sole concern should be getting the best possible deal for Everton Football Club. That is exactly what he is doing.
