Hes not really doing himself any favours at the moment as with Terry. He should just come out and say what he wants to do both sides are getting bored of this now.

Would be interesting to know what the loyaty bonus is they can be up to 10%, so £2 million to him and and at least another £2 million to Wolves for their sell on clause. Its not a surprise that Everton are deseperate not to sell, they would struggle to replace like for like in this market with £16 million and almost certainly would not be able to pay the wages to a player commanding that sort of fee anyway.

There is no way he got an injury unless he fell out of bed lmao.

Exactly, it's impossible for Everton to defend this now they stated it was done in America.

The injury would have had to occur after the squad was named [With Lescott in it] on the 1st.

He's also out of the Blackpool game but Moyes says he's hopeful of him being in the Malaga game on friday. The deal i likely to be done by friday though.

Despite what Everton's fans and Moyes say regarding Lescott being injured in America.

He was indeed named in the squad on the 1st, and named injured on the 2nd.

27 minues before the game and didn't travel. It's all pointing towards the transfer.

There is no way he got an injury unless he fell out of bed lmao.

Just to play devils advocate for a minute.
He could have picked up a minor knock in the US but it may not have been too serious and they thought he'd be ok for the next 2 friendlies. They decided not to pull him out too early and then reassess the injury at the weekend.
He didn't play on Sunday so the injury may have been more than first anticipated.
I'm not trying to piss on anyones chips, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

The sooner this is sorted the better, the defence is a major part of the team and needs sorting now! We could end up being a bit disjointed at bb toure only just joined, tevez injured, barry injured ade still finding his feet roque injured the new signings haven't had much time to gel as of yet!

with this deal anything is possible :)

at the moment we are all guessing what going to happen with this deal and this could roll on for a while yet. What both us and the Everton Fans need is Lescott to commit one way or another, or in our case just move on and tie up an alternate target ASAP

This transfer is really boring me now, i wouldn't mind if was for a World Class player but i don't even rate Lescott that highly anyway. Plus all the everton fans on here are doing my head in

thats the way i think about it all. hes good not great. even heard kevin ratcliffe on talksport this morning saying he was only worth 8-10mil tops.
i hope we don't go for another everton player in the future. too much bullshit on here! ha.

I may be in the minority here, but i actually think he's genuinely injured. Usually when it's a fake injury, nothing more gets said on the matter, but Moyes has since come out again saying that he expects him to miss the next friendly but be back for the one after. This to me suggests it's genuine. Normally, no further comment would be made and the club would just wait for the transfer to happen. The fact that Moyes has expanded further suggests to me that he has a slight knock and that nothing has changed in the Lescott saga. We've made 2 or 3 bids, and they've been rejected. I don't sense that there's anything more than that going on.

I think City are playing hard ball with the Elm and Delph 'Interest', as every man and his dog know Everton want them 2.
