OK it is obvious he is not going to submit a transfer request. Lets just move on and get somebody else.

Lescott is a good player but their are players of equivalent talent throughout Europe at Half the price.
 
Okay! Playing him tonight added to the fact he is prepared to play is the signal that should end our pursuit!

Move on to the net target or make do with what we have got, but officially withdraw any and all offers for Lescott. everton do not want to sell, and the player does not want to come that strongley.

Fair play to them both! But please remember this saga when in Jan, Moyes is crying into any camera about his limited squad options after the europa cup has taken its toll, and he has no funds for new players.
 
It's time we knocked this one on the head, and offered £12m for Upson. Everton obviously want to keep him, and we need to bring in at least one more defender before deadline day.
 
We just don't have time for this anymore. Lescott is playing, Everton don't want to sell, if he wants to come it's obvious he isn't going to force the issue. The season starts in 8 days, we really needed to get Lescott/another CB in a week ago. Our team is going to have so many new faces they're going to need as much time as possible to gel.
 
Don't know about you but I'm fed up of checking this thread, reckon that's sign enough that we move on and move quickly to shore up defence.

lescott's name got a big cheer when the team's line up was announced according to radio merseyside. was hoping for boos.
