Re: official move for Lescott today...

A sensible deal for all parties could be something along the lines of £15-£18m+Dunne. This is presuming that Dunne is actually going or even wants to. Everton get a replacement defender and plenty of cash to develop other area's and if Dunne is as settled in the area as reports suggest then he wouldnt even have to move house and still gets first team football. If Dunne wants to stay at the club and fight though I would not push him out of the door.

Can you imagine what that would do to any statement of ambition we have ?
Dunne joined Everton 13 years ago .
Although he has had an outstanding career at City , it would be the equivalent of designing a state of the art living room , and sitting a black and white telly in the corner .

It might work , but ' hey - what happened to our 60" HD ' ?

Lescott is NOT coming here. I know quite a few people at Everton including Sharpy and loads of training staff. It's not happening. I've been asking about this for weeks. Not a chance. Forget it.

I can assure you that you either havent asked or have been asking the wrong people ;o)

Could you clarify why that is? The way you say it it could be that they'd refuse to sell, but if he said he wants to go that changes the equation. But you could also be saying Lescott doesn't want to move under any circumstances.

I'm not sure about giving Moye 20 million cos he'll probably go and buy 3 Cahills!
