Re: lescott

The latest news breaking from Everton FC is enclosed below ...............so it looks like Jan 10 ( next year ).

Breaking news here is that Everton FC is set to lose central defender Joleon Lescott in a January deal worth £17m (€20m) to North West rivals Manchester City.
Our man on the ground has revealed that Lescott (26) has set his heart in a move to Eastlands that will increase his weekly wage to an initial £60,000 (€70,000) per week. However Everton boss, David Moyes, has told the defender that he will not be allowed to leave the Merseyside club until the January transfer window, and then only if injured fellow defender Phil Jagielka is back on the pitch in full health.

The deal is welcomed by both Manchester City, who will finally get their man, and reluctant sellers Everton, who will receive Brazillian striker Jo back on loan; and sufficient funds to strengthen the squad for an assault on the Europa League and next season’s Champions League places in the English Premier League.

More as we get it

so we are going to wait of Jan and give them Jo on loan and pay up front!

as in Jan they could be out of the Europa League and way of target for the top 4, and in Jan 17 Million will not get many players..... nobody wants to sell we should know that

Re: lescott

Lescott is good but this one again is dragging too long and Moyes is just looking to cash in. I would not want to see Jo going on Loan to everton again this season if we don get Lescott and may be at most for 16-17 Million. Gallas could be an option too as he said he would not sign a new contract a Arsenal but not sure if thats what we want.

But Lucio will be a good signing he said he would be interested in a move and as per news Robiniho also spoke with him and he showed his desire to join City may be we should go for him and Moyes can keep his defense as we'll still break into there defense for that matter any defense.

Let me know what you guys think we can add to our back 4 besides the ones we are linked with Toure and Lescott...

Re: lescott

What's the point in waiting until January? Not having it. The defence let us down last season and if we want a top four finish, there's no way we will get that with the same defence as last season. Lescoot either comes before the season starts or we go elsewhere.
