Agree - Everything on that list is either players already linked with, one of whom we were always gonna be linked with as he was the worlds best player at that time, or players who had issues with their respective clubs. Only one on their which made me look was Young, but the fact nothing has been in the media shows that is complete hollox too. Sorry mate, but anyone could have come up with that list.

Somebody questioned what I had heard in the past, so I was just responding to that. It's all old hat now so whilst I appreciate anybody could've said the same thing......why would anybody lie?

It's what I've been saying, Lescott will not be joining us. How can Moyes now sell him to us after an article like that without looking like a twat? This transfer is dead and buried and we need to publicly announce our interest is dead and move on. Fuck it, go for Ramos or someone like that. Nothing other than a silly bid of £35m is gonna change Moyes' mind.

The journalist in question Dominic King is Everton's mouthpiece in the media - he writes one sycophantic piece after another so he can be given little snippets of transfer news - you can guarantee that that info has come from Moyes himself

HAHA! I was Pigeonho long before the Pigeon episode mate! Wasn't having a go, just very sceptical when these ITK's come on with things and I have to take a light hearted view of it all. The day someone says such and such is signing, a completely out of the world name, and then he signs, well then i'll take more notice. No offence.

Back ground: Kaka...was told a day before anything was announced about Kaka that City were looking to spend over £100 million, although I wasn't sure if this was to buy the ground or to go for Kaka.

Kaka again....Was told he was in the bag. Oops.

Adebayor....Told the Friday before it happened that it was a certainty.

Lescott.....Was told last Thursday that it will be happening & all the stuff in the press about going for alternatives is a smokescreen & not to believe it. (I'll wait & see about that one!!)

Ashley Young....we have made an enquiry but no firm bid (no way to know if this is true or not)

Bojinov....Going to Parma, not Lazio, on loan the day before it broke

There are probably a couple more, but got too much work to do to think of any others.
