Hardly a bottomless pit is it mate?

Great squad.
World class manager.
Consistent finishes with European places.
Final of the most prestigious domestic cup.

Why are we a bottomless pit?

world class manager????....... MOYES OUT..<a class="postlink" href="http://www.toffeeweb.com/season/08-09/comment/mailbag/mailbagitem.asp?submissionID=9480" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.toffeeweb.com/season/08-09/c ... ionID=9480</a>

I didn't write that mate. We had a poor start last season and every club has fans that jump the gun.

I'm sure City have fans with aspirations of winning the league and FA Cup double this season. It's just natural.

Very good manager without a doubt, but to say world class is just not on.

He needs to test himself against the very best for a while and come out winning to do that and that will only happen witha few seasons of CL football and being in contention for the league title.

Billionaire's want Clubs that are succesful on the World Stage.

Then why did they pick Man City?

Great squad - 9 fit first teamers, loaning our rejects

World Class Manager - Has he ever won anything or managed at international level

Give you that but youve never made the final of uefa cup so is worthless

Portsmouth and Millwall have both recently made an FA Cup final

Try again with your reasons

We have the potential to be a huge club. Unlike your's who punches above its weight each season.

I also notice you chose to ignore the rest of my post. Interesting.

Because our fans base is fantastic, and has been shown to be consistently loyal - even when we went down to the third tier - they stated that this was one of the things that impressed them most when they bought us.

One bit caught my eye with Moyes rant which was the bit when he said about them valuing Lescott more than we do, if that is the case why is he not paid accordingly?

Moyes rant was great he got all uptight and made us look like the bad guy and blew everything up without actually saying anything of any note.

Special credit to the way he praised Real Madrid, after they publicly courted Ronaldo for years. 'Wouldn't sell them a virus' from Fergie kind of goes against what Davey Boy was saying.

City are trying to buy a player, Everton have put the bids in the public domain and made public Lescott's transfer request. As a result Hughes has repeatedly been asked questions about Lescott or 'the player' as Hughes has mainly refered to him. There's no rule that says you can't bid more than once for a player, and as such City are entitled to bid as many times as they like. Moyes has his clubs interests at heart/his own agenda and whether Lescott will be allowed to move or not remains to be seen. But the way he criticises City is embarrasing, as is the way he keeps bleating about not having had a phone call. Mark Hughes strikes me as the type of man who would rarely pick up the phone to his relatives or closest friends and as transfers are the area delegated to Marwood, Cook etc don't see why he would or should. Moyes paints City as the bad guy as it suits his own agenda, in reality our club have been as diplomatic and respective as possible keeping public outcry to a minimum. Both clubs have aspirations of the top 4, but only City are conducting themselves like a top team with regards to this transfer.

But we are twisting Lescott's head and how can that be fair? What is a Moyes to do?
