Lescott

I thought Lescott had a good game and was alert to the danger of their speedy attackers and lumping the ball over our back line
The defence was fortunate to get away without losing a goal but they all played with their heart on their sleeve
Considering Kompany hasn't played a premiership game for over five months he did really well, as did RSC with his first start although he tired considerably early in the second half

By far Lescotts best game in a city shirt! But i get the feeling he plays better away from home. He seems a bit nervous at our ground and under pressure. I thought Zabaleta played well today, he won a few defensive headers today in vital areas, which is somet ive not seen from him before.

this cannot be serious.
The defence looked shaky today, despite the clean sheet (bar Bridge and Given)
Lescott im not convinced by him at all,
he is stiff as a board and looks unbalanced everytime he distributes the ball.
Defence is supposed to be solid and composed, today was not and we were lucky not to concede.
Jonnobiggestfan i agree with you.(not the stinker bit, it was his best game)

Yeah played well. Kompany was decent enough but hes no Toure

I am not one to slag players off but Kompany had a bad game.

Lescott was excellent - Kompany was poor looked short of match fitness to me.
