Lescott

lolz @ the people suggesting Maicon. His agent joked about City a couple of weeks ago and said he'd go to a top club and said "what would he do at City?"

Not going to happen!

It's even funnier the one's picking right backs for left back, I'm glad some of these numpties don't manage us ha ha.

Totally agree, it pisses me off the way people think he's automatically gonna' come, what can we offer that Inter or any of the other top teams in Europe can't, money? He's probably on 100k+ at Inter.

Plus, is he even THAT good, I've seen him play a few times and he's not wowed me, too many people use Football Manager to dictate who they think we should buy.

Problems solved...

I'm unconvinced by the full backs form at the minute but I'm also unconvinced by playing four centre backs.

As for Lescott, today was accident free, another three or four games like that and we can start to say he is looking like a player. Saying he has been OK all along though is just ridiculous. To state facts does not make you a boo boy, whatever the BM thought police might say.

Strong and commited today. Great game, still needs the Everton 'hoof it long' football coached out of him though.

Not sure you can call it the Everton 'hoof it long' football - seemed to be very much our tactic in the first half yesterday!
