let me tell you a story...

let me tell you a story... I just read 10 pages and you haven't said shit we didn't already know.

FFS, ITK?! GTFO. (nudge nudge, wink wink) know whud I mean? aye? aye?

Mancini doesn't tolerate dissent, even if this is 'resolved' over the next week or two I am pretty sure he will be shipped out in the summer.

Pretty hard to be remotely pissed off as a City fan right now when I look at our league position, and we are NOT the one man show that everybody thinks we are.

did Cesc and Gerrard (back in the day when he wanted to go to Chelsea) officially hand in transfer requests at the time?

Bellamy is a good premiership player who has a huge gob on him and has caused trouble wherever he's been. Petrov another with a big gob on him. Not a world class player even though he thinks he is. Ireland, well the less said the better. Granted Tevez is a world class player but he has previous with United.

We are top equal and I think that Mancini can stay exactly like he is. In other words like the detested Ferguson, he takes no shit from overpaid, overhyped prima donnas. And long may that last.

Oh and by the way, wasn't it only a few matches ago you were calling for Roberto's head?

no

i have criticised RM numerous times but I havent asked for him to be sacked..infact quite the opposite as numerous times ive said managerial stability is the most important thing. i do however believe that it is a two way street and RM does need to look at how he deals with players (not just tev)
No he doesn't. That's your opinion and one that many would not agree with. I would trust him and his experience over all the players that have dissented. They all have previous with other managers also.

TH, can you tell us who it was that dripped the story to the media ?

I'm curious as to whether it was from Tevez or from the club ?

I think we are all assuming it was from Tevez side, but it wouldn't surprise me if the club did it, on an otherwise good news day, just so that it was out in the open, and called their bluff. We hold all the cards on this one for me, we can out pay anyone on wages, we can ask seriously silly money for the fee, and we could even afford to leave him out in the cold for a season or two, as he has 3 1/2 years to go. If he goes AWOL (ie "retires") he's in breach of contract and I'm sure the club will take legal action against him.

Also like with Rooney, I don't think it puts the player in a good light (and I don't mean with us the fans), it just makes him look like another disloyal mercenary, and that won't encourage the one or two clubs who could take him to do so. None of those clubs are near his kids anyway, so the homesick thing is just bollox.

You've made me feel warm and cosy

This situation shouldn't really surprise anyone. Look at the history of Tevez and his agent and think also about his background before football.

Gifted player though he is, Tevez is the ultimate mercenary. The guy has literally sold himself before now and too many other people have a piece of him.

Now here is a harsh reality: With Tevez City could win the Premiership this season. Without Tevez they can't.

I reckon winning the Premiership is worth several hundred million to City and no doubt Carlos and Co know that too.

It's a bitter pill to swallow, but Carlos Tevez is irreplacable at present. City will give him more money, get the success on the pitch and fuck him off in the summer.

Wait till the summer then sell him. Even if he changes his mind, sell him.

To who? Who could afford his £160,000 pw wages.? Plus if he has three and a half years left on his contract, what would that amount to? Anyone in Europe would end up in the same boat as us with the "boo hoo, i miss my kids routine". Cant see anyone willing to take that chance to be honest or to dish out the dosh. (Maybe SAF with his '£100 million' kitty) ? LOL
