One of the best chants of the night was when we (south stand) asked the "bell end" to do the throw in, just 1 man did it and we chanted:

I still think the family stand's "Jonny Woodgate is a galactico" was better, possibly because my dad started it!
I must say... The SS's 'throw' was better than the Kippax's!

The reason why it kicked off last time is because three blokes, one police and two stewards, were grabbing an old man who was sat down and had done nothing more than politely make his point. They also waded into the middle of the crowd to do so knocking people over including myself (believe me that's not easily done either) and a seven year old. These were two lads on the end of a row who'd most likely been gobbing off. Completely different situation with completely different results. My 6 year old was in the family stand with me and he was doing the throw in,he looked like he was raving!also I was contacted tuesday saying he,d won the competition to be player escort in the league match against liverpool.I,ve kept it quiet but I will give him the letter from City in a gold envelope on Xmas morning with his other presents.It has been difficult keeping it from him and discussing how brilliant it must be to accompany the players and take pot shots at Joe Hart in the pre-match warm up as we watched the kids who were last night,s winners doing it before stoke game.Can,t wait to see his face.
