Typical for most of our fans to want to get shut of a player or assume he won't make it judging from one game.... I remember when Kompany first came on the scene he was just as guilty of making the occasional mistake and looked shaky god forbid if we had listened to fans back then and "got rid" of him.....
You pay £8M for a 20 year old defender from Partizan and you expect the next Lucio??
He's showed far more potential of becoming a great player in previous games he's played in, it doesn't help the fact that everyone around him was shite in the first half as well, I don't recall him making a single mistake in the second half and looked far more comfortable on the ball....
But fuck it yeah lets get rid if only Sunderland didn't do everything in their power to sign Onuoha we could of played him instead...... oh wait!

Spot on. If the whingers had their way we wouldn't have Kompany, Richards or Hart any longer. The lad's young and has been thrown into the deep end long before Bobby anticipated, get behind him - You never know it might just help his confidence.

Oh to have Dunnie back to put the kid alongside, he would have eased him through what was a difficult game against a proper center forward,
Nevermind the media sh*te that caroll is a duff, he is a defenders nightmare, had it have been my call then Micah would have been brought back inside to pair with Savic and mark him, with Zab coming on as right back.
However that option was lost after we went 1-0 down because Micah was being used as part of the attack to try and pull the game back.
Like a few on here I can see that Savic has talent, even more important Roberto thinks so and his judgement on players has been spot on, I have no doubts he also saw Lescott duck out on the kid when he needed help rather than get on his case because he made a few errors.

Never forget that wikipedia is a crock of shit that anyone can tinker with mate. Savic is 1m85 (a fraction under 6ft 1' - relatively small for a centre half), Lescott is 1m88 (6ft 2') and Kompers 1m91 (a shade over 6ft3'). Try again

i thought he did ok.
thing is, kompany is a leader and controller of his fellow defenders.
i reckon if he played next to kolo or komps he could relax into the role more

Micah is 5' 11" yet has played centre half for us in the past and looked good, Kolo is 6' 0" and has been a force for Arsenal in the past and has been decent for us as well before his ban and only just recently since coming back... Vidic for United is around the same height as Savic and he still gets considered one of the best in Europe, your theory is rubbish my friend..

loan him off for a season and bring a ready made top class CB in to partner Vinnie, keep Kolo around in Savic's role then when Savic has 30/40 games under his belt then bring him back.
