Let's talk about corners

Maybe get Andy Hinchcliffe back as a corner coach, not sure what he is up to now. Las time I heard of him he was promoting his house in the states as a holiday home in the programme Hinchusa.com .
 
Whenever we get a corner I react as if we just gave the ball away. We might as well just hand the ball to the opposing keeper

not true,
i said before the stats are 3% of corners lead to goals, at the moment we have had 88 corners and def 2/3 goals so about average with the rest of europe in the last 10 years, as for conceding goals from corners, i dont have the stats(looked but couldn't find them) and i cant remember conceding at a corner, so with your statement could you show a little proof about the not coping, or is that just in yours and nearly everyone's head on this thread ?
 
i wrote a thread , the aim of my thread was to call out wums, and what wums are actually doing, they place seeds of doubt to the average fans, you know the fans that don't think for themselves and go along with the usually made up narrative,we see it in the media, write enough bullshit about city and the average fan believes it and its showing on this thread, as the saying goes say something enough and it becomes true, well the stats are there you can read them for yourselves , or you can go on believing we really are shit at corners, both attacking and defending, when in reality we are about average for attacking ,and above average for not conceding.
 
Corners are all about numbers. They aren't that difficult, which is why some of the worst managers have the most success.

Whenever we've played Aké at LB, we've looked really dangerous at set pieces because we suddenly have Ake, Stones, Dias, Rodri, Jesus trying to get on the end of something.

Most teams seem to have 4 big men to defend set pieces. If you pick an 11 with more than that, you're dangerous at every corner, if you match it, someone needs to do something special to beat a good defender, and if you have less than that, you're not going to score from set pieces unless someone really fucks up or the delivery is unstoppable.
