Now that all the north standers have taken whats left of any decent seat in the ground after being moved.... where on earth are the level 2 guys gonna go next season ?.. these are people who have had the best seats in the house for years and i just cant see them being happy with back row 3rd tier.......?
not that a have a choice, one hell of a fucking piss take,
and for that reason i am son not bothering
What?

This worries me! I have been a supporter since '68 and for the first time feel that my club is being taken away from me. I have been a supporter of Gary Cooke as I thought he was operating in the best interests of the club. I even forgave him the outrageous clanger he dropped at the OSC dinner and the cringeworthy performance at the bar in New York. But what I cant forgive is the lie he has trotted out that " This is what the fans have asked for ". No Mr Cooke, what the fans have been asking for since we moved into Coms, was a basic level of service from your catering team.
I will have my Matchday Experience with my mates in the bars around the stadium and then hope to see a decent performance on the pitch. If you are now telling me that I am to be Means Tested with regard to supporting MY team, then you Sir can fuck right off and take the rest of your non footballing corporate loving tools with you. My late Fathers greatest wish, was for me to carry on taking my kids to watch City which I have done and they enjoy their day with me and my mates. I dont need the likes of you to tell me how to bring up my kids in football.
The one thing that sets us apart from the scum is the fact we havent ever sold out to corporate fat cats with regard to support but it seems that is about to end. When I thought I was having a stroke at Wembley after Dicky put the ball in the net, it made me realise how proud I was to wear the shirt of my only team and how proud I was of all the Guys and girls who were there that day. That is what makes me want to watch City, not sitting in a comfy chair reading a free programme. Christ! I'd stand up if I could but then again that doesnt fit with your model for the future.
Lets see how many you get in your Family Stand on a Wednesday night when the kids are in school the next day. This is not your club, it may be Sheik Mansours club financially but I would guess that you are operating like any other buisiness with an owner far away, he is treated like a mushroom and kept in the dark and fed bullshit!!

I'll stay where I am, see what the prices are the year after. I have no interest in free parking or a free programme.

If I then get moved to the gods (presuming I'll be priced out of my usual seat) I'll probably chuck it in. Eyesights just not good enough to sit up there and have any sort of reasonable vision of the game.

After seven years at the stadium I figure we've all worked out where we want to sit and where we don't, never figured Garry Cook would be making that decision for me and many others.

Absolutely spot on Mate.
If the Club refuse to come out and state full intentions and prices for level 2 for 2011/12 season, so that we can make an informed decision now, Mr Cooke can expect a revolution on his hands from August onwards.
The disgraceful way the North Stand has been treated by the Club and ( Certain posters on here ) will not be repeated if i have anything to do with it.
After supporting this Club for Forty Years and Fundraising in one guise or another for the last 25 years, im sure i earned my right to sit in a great seat before some JCL with a bit of Money.
The fact that these latest changes are being made by a man who is surely just one more bad press conference away from the Boot and the support he is receiving from certain quarters on here, mystifies me

I think certain posters on here think of the likes of me and you, as the past with nothing to offer. Sir Joseph Mercer would be spinning in his grave right now. If this is the future, then I for one want no part in it. I find it embarrassing (spl) that certain people think that the Sheiks money is there to be spent entirely on City. Talk about setting up for a fall

I think everyone should just wait and see as it's pointless getting steamed up about something until it happens.
I'm in level 2 so it would affect me and my boy, I'd rather not move but I would pay a small premium if they got the f*ckin catering side sorted.

next season i,ll be in level 3, bin a season ticket holder for 21 years and gettin chucked out of north stand .still remember going to a new stadium and choosing my seat behind the goal not the same going choosing in the 3rd tier because there is nowt else!

Day before our biggest game for ages and i'm on a bit of a downer about all this. A plastic i've know for years has only ever talked to me about football after a Utd "glory night". Always managed to ignore the man, even when he tries to take the piss out of City for 30 odd years, but he reeled me in today.

He was full of how he enjoyed corporate City for the home derby and Villa game and how he can't wait for the game tomorrow in East 2 corporate. He's really excited about....... the food being so much better at COMS than at OT! He kinda likes City now because they're not such losers anymore, so he says.

Nightmare scenario is muppets like this will monopolise level 2 in 2011/12 at the expense of loyal City fans who will not be able to afford a "premium match day experience".

Just received a reply from the club, in response to my email requesting more info, saying

'A letter will be sent to all current Seasoncard holders in this area next week with information for the 2011/12 season'

So hopefully we should soon find out how much our tickets are going to rise to.
