Lunch time KO - Half time at food counter and bar. Also asked for a hot dog told 5 min wait. No just empty seats at home. Piss poor service for us in lv3.IMG_4265.jpgIMG_4264.jpg

Kinda reminds me of a game when I took the wife and daughter.
My wife ordered 2 coffees and 1 lot of chips.
Girl behind the counter “that’s £573 please” (deadly serious)
Wife “try again”
“Sorry that’s £130” hahaha
Can't fault the girl for trying [emoji23]

But in all seriousness how can anyone with half a brain read that on a till without clocking an error?

The pies were stacked before the match of all choices. A lot were buying them. They must have sold more than expected by half time.

Have you seen them?
Half of them look like they need help opening a door : )
The management aren’t much better, every week at halftime they seem shocked that 20k + fans want chips, then as hundreds queue up they come out with 8 cups of chips.

People may mock but we could easily take double if not treble the takings if we had a slick catering provision. The club may outsource but we could increase tender prices if it was proven to be a profitable business. We have the most inefficient people and processes known to man and have done for a long time. A few changes and kerching, the tills will be ringing. It's a hidden hindrance that nobody seems to want to address.

They might not have been expecting people to want to eat at half time :)

Has anyone had that chicken and chips on the photo in the OP?
Sounds nice but would probably be crap.

I’ve often wondered why there’s fuck all outside the grounds of the stadium to eat? You go to other grounds all over the country and they have independent food vans, dotted up the streets on the way to stadiums.

Just like with pubs around the Etihad, there are none of these food vans.

One set up on Alan Turing way where the fans go through the gates to walk though the cape park to Joe Mercer way could make a killing. There’s nothing from there from Monsall to the stadium.

There's quite a few on the site. It's one of the things we pushed for at City Matters.

Yes but it must have been very insensitive of them not to realise that he might shown up at half time expecting food. We appear to have bloody world experts in every field on this site including ‘just in time’ stock delivery for catering!

shite all over , I really don’t know why city haven’t sorted it yet or if they really want to. I’m in 107, if you want a pint you need to go on 35mins and you might get back for second half kick off.
Couple of tourist next to me decided right on half time whistle that they wanted some chips. I thought good luck and he came back down on the 56min chips in hand!!

Fucks sake, how bad is this day going to end up? Absolute relentless shit-show City.

Over 50 years and can't remember things ever being quite this bad to be honest.

It’s been thus since Adam was a lad: The queues are too long and the service is too slow. Solve that conundrum and you’ll be a millionaire
