Lewis Fiorini

Lewis started his first full game for The Imps last night, against Man Utd U23’s in the Papa John’s Trophy.

He linked superbly in the centre of midfield alongside ex-Ipswich player Ted Bishop. The Imps bossed the first 70 mins leading 3-0 which could’ve been double that.

2 late consolations by Utd didn’t detract from a very promising performance and he should be pushing for League 1 starts in the coming weeks.

A week later, and an 8/10 performance against Bradford City including a sublime assist for The Imps 3rd goal in a 3-0 win in the same competition.

Getting up to speed now, and definitely in contention for a start against Cambridge Utd in L1, a week tomorrow.

Great news, while im not sure he'll be City standard he's a very fine prospect, wonderful he's settling in great.

Nice finish indeed. The fourth goal. Presume the lad Scully was MOTM.

I had City on Hesgoal yesterday and The Imps on the Firestick, it’s difficult watching 2 games at once.

A belting strike from Lewis, after coming off the bench with half an hour left. He didn’t put a foot wrong again and is settling in well according to his Dad.

Yes Scully was MotM with 2 quality finishes and 3 assists. That’s 9 for the season already including a hat-trick against Man Utd in Papa Johns Trophy.

Good to hear.

Hadn’t realised that was Tony Scully’s lad, once of this parish. Feeling older and older.

He has a future in the premier league for sure. Idk if it'll be quite at City's standard but the boy has talent.

only know if he gets the chance to show what he's worth.

I'm chuffed for his dad he's getting to go watch his games now Lewis is back in the UK.

He carries himself well too,he looks confident and assured,he looks like a player.

Could be an interesting one....

Played 70 mins on Tuesday against a very physical and direct Rotherham side. As you can see he produced the stand out moment in the game.

Really looking forward to seeing him start on Saturday v Ipswich, but frustratingly it’s another 2 screen battle with City v Saints on at the same time!!!
