Bob Dylan couldn’t typically sing. It doesn’t matter so much when you can be a showman.

I kind of disagree there.

Dylan could sing, he wasn't out of tune, his pitching was actually very good.

He just has a voice many may not enjoy, but that's preference in voice tone. But that's different to being a bad singer. Ian Brown on the other hand can't even sing in tune live, as much as I like his music. He is a bad singer in every sense.

As you see there, Dylan technically not a bad singer, just has a very marmite voice

Actually I am. I saw Ian Brown a few times solo (before he went weird) and he had the audience eating out of the palm of his hand. Big venues like Brixton Academy.

There’d be no Liam Gallagher without Ian Brown.

I had a listen to Mars to Liverpool by the pool in Tenerife this afternoon. If you're a fan of the Roses or Oasis you'll like it. They know their target audience and play to it. Nothing wrong with that. Decent 7/10 album

Very mixed bag for me.

Just Another Rainbow, Mars to Liverpool, Raise Your Hands, You’re Not the Only One, Mother Nature Song all belters.

The rest of it, bang average, apart from I’m a Wheel which is fucking horrific.

Should have waited til they had 10 belters, not just 5 imo, but still a very decent LP.

Cannot wait for the 20th at the O2. Two proper Manchester legends smashing a proper Manchester audience.

I'm the same. I waited for the butterflies starting up in my stomach but I was actually underwhelmed and like you I thought half of it was top and the rest just fillers.

Would be great to see them live onstage together, will be biblical.
