Lidl / Aldi

I have on a infrequent basis but none the less I prefer to eat quality rather than presumed quality at a a lesser price. If you doubt me I suggest you check the line of were the meats come from as your first port of call. If they can refer back to the farm the heritage and the where the animal was slaughtered I would be amazed. The reference to EVERY single piece of beef is registered in Waitrose for a reason. Again as stated if you wish to eat from where you have no idea where it comes from, your choice
Waitrose and Aldi are subject to the same legal standards for provenance of organic produce.
I have taken more things back to Waitrose for being mouldy or rotten on unpacking than I ever have at Aldi.
You’re infantile snobbery is risible.

There is no snobbery involved, you may have returned food stuffs to Waitrose but I bet you were given a full refund? As for being infantile I would guess I have gotten under your skin for being right. By the way please learn how to spell "your" before suggesting childish behaviour. Just for the added point I was merely quoting a joke by Tony Robbins so climb down off "your" high horse and accept the the King of England does not honour A or L

I spend £100 a week in Aldi. A lot (not all) of the produce is of superior quality to Sainsbury’s where I used to shop. There are still the odd bits and pieces I buy from Tesco or M&S but 85% of my weekly shop is from Aldi.
My £100 would cost me around £130 in Sainsbury’s for lower quality products.
Absolute joke when you compare staffing levels. The amount of staff stood around chatting and doing very little in Tesco / Sainsbury’s is reflected in the price of your weekly shop. It’s as simple as that.

Aldi sell organic meats, fruit and veg
Makes we wonder if you’ve ever been in one…
He hasn’t. He wouldn’t be seen dead in one.

Agree, we always use various supermarkets based on how close a Morrisons was our go to, that was good for fresh stuff, Aldi is on a par for fresh but much cheaper overall. And the smaller size is faster to round. Tesco we still use for other stuff but the fresh stuff is more expensive and much lower quality. Waitrose near us is just rediculously expensive for similar to Aldi/Morrisons quality.

Okay, have you ever enjoyed black garlic? chilli I grow my own as I do with apple (6 acres allow that) I work at Waitrose. I enjoy quality, if you believe that L & A deliver that and that Waitrose are too expensive so be it. I on the other hand don't, do you enjoy organic vegetables or fruit compared with those that aren't and no doubt are probably sprayed with god nows what. I wouldn't feed my dogs with crap like that but that's your choice. The King of England decrees it. Duchy of Cornwall after all
Places like the wholesalers in Cheetham Hill do better veg, herbs and spices than anywhere, and theyre cheaper than Lidl and Aldi. They’re the sort of places chefs go for their stock.

It’s not about how much you spend on something, so if you can get it for cheaper, why wouldn’t you?

I don't mind, I frequently travel to the Chinese markets in Manchester and Liverpool and to the Asian markets to stock up. I don't see your point?
