Please, please, please stop all this tacky crap.

Free flags, that fucking bluemoon at the start, it is the carling cup ffs and it makes us look like a bunch of dicks.

Sorry to be a miserable bastard but I really don't want to be the next Chelsea.

That is all.

i know it seems a bit cheesy and cringworthy but at the end of the day it gets everyones spirits up which is perfect for a match

Re: Plastic and tacky

The light show was good but blasting out we will rock you by queen is just plain fuckin wrong. And that fast rock and roll version of blue moon. FFS we're not living in the seventies. Sort it out city.

Re: Plastic and tacky

It was kids night, but I'd like to think we don't need to do that for a real match like against the Rags.

Incidentally, I couldn't get a flag to bring home for my lad, some buggers seemed to have about 5 though. Never mind, he'll have to make do with a Wembley 2010 one instead.

Get this on everyone will be so hyped up and angry utd wont know what hit them!! And give every city fan a bag of gravel to throw at the cunts.

Re: Plastic and tacky

had no probs with the flags..

Ever since I first watched City in the flash (decades ago)
I've been struck by the lack of colour round the ground(s). Sorry, but the wall of colour (eg flags , banners , scarves ....flares etc is a key feature in building the 'fortress feeling' and supporting the players. (remember the M+++ch derby 2 years ago ?) Continental clubs latched onto this years ago and it is impressive..

The other thing i notied tonight was how the kids picked up on it . We were sat near a couple of primary aged lads who enjoyed wavin their flags (even though their dad was wearing an Oldham hat)

By the end of the game they had latched onto the songs we were singing...

job done !!!

whether we like it or not this is modern day football if the crowd get behind the team then so be it if you want to get rid of this then create your own atmosphere but we havent been very good at this lately
