The reason clubs, including City, wouldn't want him, is if it was a 'normal' situation where Messi asks for a move & then clubs start bidding, his transfer fee then what he would ask in wages would be incredible.
But he's asked to sign for our club & will make it work re wages, so we are not in that situation.
