I'm not one of you but "typical City" has changed a lot in the past decade, hasn't it? At the moment I don't see why Messi wouldn't come to play for you. There are funny curses a club carries for a long time (e.g. our curse in the CL and with the CL final in particular) but they're not a definitive verdict. Look at where you are now, not at what you were. You might have a difficult relationship with luck but it hasn't stopped you coming all this way, nor has it interfered at 93:20 of a game with QPR.
