Might have been said already, but if it is us and PSG then Messi has to think about the 75% tax rate in France.
We could pay him much less in terms of wages and he would effectively take home more.
I still doubt this would ever happen though.

I heard something about the 75% tax in France, that it is the company/team that pays 75%, and not the individual worker/player, hence not affecting their actual wage.
