Txiki, Soriano and Pep all owe credit to the wine maker
And they all Khaldoon and HRH even more credit - hence why Pep has stayed with us longer than anywhere...he has cited his relationship with our chairman as one of the main reasons for this.

Money alone gets you nothing without good management of said resources

Pep has repeatedly said how much he values Khaldoon.....Khaldoons management and potentilly HRH management of of Pep is what is making Pep stay here longer than he has at ANY club so you are right....our club is managed extremely well from the very top and not just financially...infact Im sure Pep could go anywhere and be backed financially extremely well (both in termss of personally and for the team)..but its how our club and its leadership from the very top are managing Pep, Txixi and Soriano that is making them all want to stay (and in particular Pep).

Make no mistake about WHO is in charge off the pitch....its Khaldoon. You only have to listen to him speak to know that....the best managers (not just in football) will listen and take advice from others around them BUT ultimately it is HRH and Khalddons vision that is leading everything we do.

Barca used to be a guiding light in terms of what went on on the pitch - the ultimate expression of how football should be played (in my opinon at least) but OFF the pitch there is no club as well ran as ours and not one with the vision the real leaders have ......After Pep has gone, our style of play may well shift slightly (though it may not as well) and Pep deserves 100% credit for that but the vision for the club will remain and it was there before Pep arrived and will be there after he has gone.....

Have we left ourselves in a counter transfer attack from Barcelona?

Getting Serg on a free from us, while keeping Messi, if he does decide to stay?

Serg get’s to play with Messi at Barcelona, and get’s to live in Barcelona, and in Spain, the country, the lifestyle, and the climate his misses and loves.

Am I worried slightly, yes I am.
I think you might have caught a few with this, clarkies are us

City without the Barça architects would be a very different club

And Barca without Messi would gave been a different club.
Fuck me you are a weird twat..
Don’t Barca have a forum of their own where you can spout your bollocks.
The football World doesn't revolve around Barca.. Hopefully they will be in the Thursday Night Cup next season.

A very insightful comment. We would indeed be a “different club” without Pep, Soriano and Txiki.

Though, I’m not sure what your comment is aimed at achieving? It’s as if you’re trying to take ownership (on behalf of your own club) for City’s current success? Are they really the “Barca architects”, or can they be called the “City architects” now that they’ve been here longer?

One thing I am confident of is that, without those people, we would still be a better managed club than yours! Khaldoon and co know how to manage a club without bankrupting it.
