I'd love to know how you came to that conclusion.
I personally feel the same way, a lot of the time.
And in the spirit of open discussion, i take that from his interviews and what he has said to date.
I get that it is all down to interpretation and we tend to look at it our own ways. And with an element of confirmation bias (myself included).
But so far Messi HAS gone out his way to diffuse and defer discussion of his leaving, and show commitment to Barcelona. There may be a subtext that can be read into below the surface perhaps, but that is his message.
I think the way things are going it is becoming impossible for him to stay. But i also think given half a decent offer, he would, and that is why he is waiting to see.

You simply don't leak that if there is a 1% chance he stays.

Yeah I would. IMO nothing Messi has said would lead anyone to that conclusion, so I'd love to know how you reached it.

Just for shits and giggles I wold love Messi to come out and publicly declare “If Barcelona were to offer me a 2 year contract extension I would give it serious consideration” just to see the mental gymnastics from the club trying to backtrack on their recent hatchet job(s) on him!

You know, maybe it is then me looking for the subtext.
It really is down to how we interpret it, and also how we fill in the blanks.
Example being your point on his family. He simply stated it was a difficult decision for his family, they were against it and cried. I know different members have understood thatbin different ways, some even took it as one of the reasons in him reversing his decision. I took it like you did, that despite that, he still wanted to leave. But it them doesnt lead to concluding that he Still wishes to leave, beyond his reversal, as you suggest, that to me is a bit of filling in the blank.
I think it is fair to say, as you do, he is simply ruling out (publicly) signing a pre contract or leaving in january, and that can well mean he is still intent on leaving. It can also mean he may want to stay, depending on elections and offer, or he is simply waiting to see. Therefore it is also fair to say that he has not commited to leaving, as previously suggested.
As i say, shades if grey, and no conclusive answers one way or the other.
