We know Tebas will work out a deal allowing Barcelona to keep the salary cap without too many cuts. If they achieve half of it even they'll be let off. Messi brings in too much money for the league and the club, it would have to be a catastrophe on either's part to not see Messi sign a new deal for 2 years

I think the rest of the La Liga clubs will have plenty to say if any deal is struck and they are let off,especially the 2 Madrid clubs.

To me the whole Messi story is just getting interesting and, if he re-signs with Barca, that would now be incredible in its own right and open a whole new can of worms.

Messi is a big lesson to clubs not to bend over Player Salary demands.

Not at all, Messi basically pays for himself.
The lesson here is don't burn hundreds of millions on unnecessary players and give them huge contracts.
