Why can’t we sign Kane and Messi, the Messi money has always been available and is separate from everything else. The question then is who leaves. Bernie Jesus Mahrez all 3 ?

Think you answered your own question.

We currently don't have space for Kane. Let alone Kane and Messi.

Selling 2 first team players isn't easy, even if there are interested clubs, particularly with most stuggling for money.

Would selling Bernardo for less than he is worth and letting Jesus go on loan, to bring in Messi short term and pay big money for Kane be good business?

Having already gone big on Grealish, I feel it is now either or rather than both. And that would, it would seem be Kane then.

Our grand plan...Messi and Kane arrive, Bernie and Laporte (or Jesus) leave.
Messi gives us a year while just keeping the seat warm for Haaland next year.
Laporte may want to leave but I think if they do we'll be weaker for it.

Laporte, Dias and Stones sharing the 2 CB positions is very strong. Who's to say hat Dias or Stones suffer a crisis of confidence or an injury. We should fight to keep Laporte.

Obviously Mendy is our weakest player and we have a few LB options so why not Just replace him with a striker and leave it at that.

PSG team is ridiculous when they land Messi.
This probably isn't even their best team as Veratti or Wijnaldum may play centrally, reads like a team of Galacticos! Why would Mbappe want to leave that, surely they will be champions league favourites?

The Messi thing has been and gone for me.

Yes it’d be a wild ride for a season but he’s fucked us and Pep around one too many times now.

We should be all in for Kane. Someone who actually wants to play for us for the right reasons and doesn’t just want a final payday.

On paper, maybe.

But time and again, football shows us that it is a team game - it's not the best bunch of individuals who win things, but the best combinations of players who dovetail nicely so that it becomes more than the sum of its parts.

Interesting regarding this deal la liga struck with a company, where la liga said you will recieve funds (like all la liga clubs) and be able to keep messi - on the condition you drop the proposed super league

Barca have the audacity to try and blame la liga
