Its a salary cap based on the previous years revenue.

as soon as their revenue returns to pre-covid levels, they will be able to have €500m wage bills again.

if you're going to try and lecture people at least know something about the topic.
So the league is going to create problems for itself because last year was difficult? They lose their one superstar because of it? Even though they should have fans back this year and revenues back to similar levels, although probably less overseas fans?

As for lecturing, fucking hell, pot calling the kettle off white

The.CFG can pay that from the left sock, also the wages are a shadow of the potential commercial gains, its always been the justification to any deal!
It just doesn't seem feasible but if we can find a way then it's a no brainer.

They are not changing the rules.
Barca have made the hard decision to let him go.

I honestly think we will be balls deep in trying to sign messi. We would be stupid not to be.
If city do make an approach. Then he comes here. Its that simple in my eyes. Why would he choose PSG over playing for pep again and in this team.
Give levy a 24 hour deadline, then throw everything at signing Messi

It is not unreasonable to assume we are looking at Messi as an option. The Longer Levy doesn't budge the more Messi could appeal as an option.

There comes a point where we will have done all we can and likewise Kane. If Levy doesn't budge though a time comes where both parties accept nothing more could be done, we won't have left Kane in the lurch and Kane won't have bottled it. With both of us accepting the other did their bit.
Not unreasonable?....I’ll be gutted if we’re not first in line

Wonder what kind of wage Bernardo is on? And how many more of our academy lads we can loan out? To help towards the cost of Messi's salary? Who knows what kind of deal Messi would be prepared to take, guess he'll want to keep his image rights or would he let that go towards a deal? Is an turn in America something that would appeal to him?
