City haven't missed out on Messi, we simply choose not to pursue it this year.
Do you want him to shine your shoes as well, bossTo save me time scrolling back pages why can't he play for free & not be able to register?
You're clearly living in La-la-land. Do you think that they didn't try to offload players before letting him go? Do you think that negotiating a contract with another club is an easy matter? Do you think that the clubs wanting him will wait until Barca fail to sign him? Jesus Christ...So why not wait to see how things play out at Barca? Let's say they get to the 70% via player sales, they would presumably be able to register a player who is on a nominal/nil salary. I guess there is no reason Messi couldn't continue to train there to keep his fitness levels up. And if it doesn't work out, he then signs his PSG contract.
Dont know if youve ever been but paris is a shithole.
I posted a translated screenshot above, only really have to scroll, or do you need me to do that for you as well? Its a good job we're all fluent in Spanish.
It's not just their wage bill. It's wages, including senior non playing staff, plus amortisation. All of those have to be under €200m before they can register players. Griezeman, Dembele & Coutinho alone account for €144m just in amortisation, before any wages are taken into account.Barca have to get their wage bill under a certain number this season. Even with Messi gone, they can't hit that number so they can't register any new players.
Same case as when they went to court over Neymar. They won't be able to stop it, but it'll be a massive lawsuit, expect the return of Super league and calls for UEFA to elaborate on FFP rules allowing it to happen. Will be rather, Messy, no pun intended.Wtf.....how can they stop him signing for anyone else???
Wtf.....how can they stop him signing for anyone else???
