I agree, regrettably that ship has sailed. It would have been great to have him here three or four years go to play with Sergio but it doesn’t make a lot of sense now to sign a 35 year old on the best part of a million quid a week. I would have loved to see him here but now it’s too late. Go to America Lionel,they would love you in Miami.The window for Messi to City has passed imo. We already have midfield age/legs issues with Mahrez, Gundog & KDB, so I fail to see where Messi would fit in or benefit us.
If he did come, it'd be a luxury signing for £40m per season. We need to look forward, not backward. We need more energy in our midfield, not more elderly passengers. However if Pep says yes... \0/
