If anyone thinks he wouldn’t be a fantastic addition they need to have a cold shower and a coffee to sober up.

We will bring in a couple of younger midfield reinforcements in the summer and the old guard will continue to move on. But even if we had a full midfield of 70 year olds we’d be delighted to have Messi in front of em, and yes, dropping back with them too

Apparently he’s staying in Europe (not Saudi, MLS or Argentina) so interesting to see what happens. Presumably stay at PSG.

What better way to give a big ‘fuck you’ to the FA and the league than signing the best player ever?!
 
The window for Messi to City has passed imo. We already have midfield age/legs issues with Mahrez, Gundog & KDB, so I fail to see where Messi would fit in or benefit us.

If he did come, it'd be a luxury signing for £40m per season. We need to look forward, not backward. We need more energy in our midfield, not more elderly passengers. However if Pep says yes... \0/

Moreover - Messi is no saint - if signed he demand to play at all times. Disrupting team chemistry.

He should've come here and pushed in 2020. He's wasted a couple of years at PSG in that league and not competing in the CL - one of the big factors he said was the cause for his burofax to Barca.

Such a shame.
 
he will probably end up at barca but he would be a good addition. cant play 3 times a week but he is still one of, if not the best footballer on the planet. he could easily play one of the positions gündo and kev are playing at the moment or as a winger.
